Kirby's Adventure

Kirby's Adventure is the first console game to release on the NES. Most well known for Kirby's origins and for good reason. This was the game that didn't just revamp previous mechanics from Kirby's Dream Land with improved visuals and level design, but this would also be the game that would introduce Kirby's signature copy ability and carry this game's blueprints onto their future games.

We return to Planet Popstar and Dream Land, to see all is calm and peaceful for our Dream Landers. Forever having sweet dreams, all thanks to the power of the Star Rod that distributes them within the Dream Spring. Or so we think, as Kirby wakes up in his humble abode from a rather discomforting rest, noticing that he hadn't been having his usual pleasent dreams. He heads to the Spring to check on it, but who should be there but King Dedede, bathing in the pool's waters. Kirby discovers that the King had broken the Star Rod into several pieces, and gave them to each of his respected subjects; so it's up to Kirby, once again, to retrieve the missing pieces, restore the land's dreams and put an end to Dedede's shenanigans.
