An update on what's currently going on in my life.

<Who Am I?>

I'm still an artist. Starting to find a balance between my retail job and my art. Less digital art and more sketchbook stuff. Drawing in ballpoint is really fun especially when you have different colors!

As the holiday rush gets closer, I know I'm not gonna have as much time on my hands as I did before. So, I'm trying to make the most of my day offs until I get more hours.

<Where Am I?>

Still in the same house as I ever was. My parents.
I used to have more of a drive to move out but I still have no idea where to start with that other than bide my time and save money. And since my parents aren't pestering me about that, I'm mostly comfy where I am.

Online, it varies where I lurk from moment to moment. Still on Tumblr, but mainly to check on hashtags I follow along with other mutuals. I made an account on Bluesky recently and have been loving the community so far! I've been trying to post some of my art backlog there to see if I can get a better reaction there. So far, it's working!

<What am I Doing?>

Art-Wise:

I want to try easing myself into drawing on larger paper vs small sketches. Like, one complete drawing on a single page vs multiple small ones. Those are fun, but I want to stretch my creativity muscles.

Site-Wise:

I want to make a blog post about my trip to Old Forge this year, but I don't know if that's gonna happen.

Still working on the sketchbook gallery. Some of the pages have old watermarks and I know it's gonna take a while for me to replace them with new ones. I'm going back and forth on whether I do that, or just post them as is.
