Use the navigation above to browse around, and if you're just as fond of him as I am, consider joining the fanlisting!

Who is King K. Rool?

King K. Rool is a character of many talents, achievements, and impeccable fashion sense. Not only is he a fearless conqueror of both land and sea, but he also holds the prestigious title of leader of the Kremlings.

In the original Donkey Kong Country, King K. Rool attempted to starve the Kongs by stealing their banan hoard and taking over their island. And who could forget the DKC TV Show, (you can never. no matter how much you try.) where he continuously tried to steal the famed Crystal Coconut, because after all, whoever has the coconut rules. (Don't question it.) All while also bringing some hilarious moments, memorable one-liners, and catchy show tunes into the mix.

The second installment, DKC 2: Diddy's Kong-Quest, saw him once again take the spotlight, as the ruthless Kaptain K. Rool. With a new krew at the helm, this time he sought to escalate his efforts by kidnapping Donkey Kong, and re-asserting his control as a true ruler of Crocodile Isle.
When Diddy and Dixie Kong hijacked the flying fortress to get to Donkey Kong, K. Rool headed down to the Lost World as a last resort, but was again foiled by the dynamic duo.

After then sinking his home and status, Baron K. Roolenstein assumes a mad scientist role and kidnaps both Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. Seeking to kill two birds with one stone to power a robot as a last stitch effort to gain favor of the Northern Kremisphere, only to once again be foiled by meddling kids, Dixie Kong and newcomer Kiddie Kong.

Donkey Kong 64 was when he decided enough was enough. No more monkey business, no more cheap disguises. He rounded up all the Kongs, locked them in cages, and planned to destroy the entire island with a colossal laser! His determination to regain power and control knew no bounds. Unfortunately for him though, the power of family and friendship prevailed, dealing another heavy blow to King "Krusha" K. Rool. It would take nearly a decade for him to resurface and assume his most iconic role to date as a main fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where he showcases his exceptional combat skills.

I am so so happy to make this shrine, where you can explore writings, artwork, and stunning graphics dedicated to King K. Rool, the Kremlings, and the Donkey Kong universe as a whole. I'm still working on a few additional pages, including a playlist with a functioning music player, and a retrospective on DKC: Return to Krocodile Isle. So stay tuned for their release, and enjoy everything this shrine has to offer
